Farmer’s Fridge vending machines (if you dare call them vending machines) don’t serve your standard fare of soda, chips and candy bars. Founder Luke Saunders actually prefers “kiosk,” or more jokingly “veggie machine” for his invention. Whatever you call it, the thing dispenses fresh salads and snacks, not junk food, to hungry Chicagoans at the push of a button.
