Water: We May Not Need 8 Glasses A Day

It’s widely believed that for optimum health we must drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. So many of us are making sure we chug water bottles all day long. However, the recommendation to drink 8 glasses of water a day, may be a myth. As the NY times reports, dehydration is real and can be brought about by bouts of illness, intense sweating from exercise or the inability to drink and it may not be necessary to carry a water bottle on hand at all times.
